The yoke of this hand-produced Merino wool cardigan features the instantly recognisable Fairisle pattern, which has remained enduringly fashionable throughout the years and was a mainstay of 1940s knitwear in particular.

  • 100% soft-feel Scottish Merino wool
  • Button-through design with pearlescent buttons and durable grosgrain-backed placket
  • Sweet Fairisle patterning in a rounded shape across the shoulders and at the sleeve cuffs
  • Shorter, slightly cropped length for a more accurate 1940s look

The Potpourri Red colourway is a heathered wine shade with pink, blue and grey accents.

Hand-produced in Scotland using quality, natural yarns spun by ERIBÉ, an established knitwear design house and manufacturer that has been in operation for 33 years. Each piece is made using knowledge handed down from one generation to the next to create a sustainable product which looks and feels great while lasting for years to come. ERIBÉ work with over 136 artisan knitters throughout Scotland and England to produce the beautiful hand-knit range of Fairisle pieces, which we stock at Revival Vintage for their fabulous wartime aesthetic that makes them so perfect for a retro enthusiast.

An ERIBÉ hand-knit piece is truly an investment into a quality garment and your own little piece of Scottish heritage.
